First, I’ll tell you about the cram school. Its name is Waseda Eye-study. It is a group of closely related Waseda School which is a very famous cram school in Kumamoto. Waseda Eye-study is individual teaching school. I have worked there since May, 2011, and I work there as a part-time lecturer. I work on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. I teach English and Japanese to junior high school students and high school students. Teaching English to junior high school students is very fun, but teaching to high school students is so difficult L I don’t only teach English but I study it with them. Lecturers who work there get along well. Most of them are college students. They go to Kumamoto University, Sojyo University, and Kumamoto Health Science University. KGU’s student is only me L We give advices about studying or love each other! We sometimes held drinking party. They listen to my worries, so I love them Cram school students trust in us. They talk us several things, for example about their schools or classes, their type of boys/girls J Their talking is very interesting! I’m satisfied with working at this cram school.

Then, I also work at an ice cream & crape shop names Rainbow Hat. It’s in Youme Town which there is in Hikari-no-mori. I started working there on February 14th (Valentine’s Day) in this year, and I work on Saturday and Sunday. I love ice cream and crape, but I don’t like making them because it is so difficult! Many children who like sweets come our ice cream shop. I like to come in contact with children, so this job is very fun for me. I want to improve to make crapes, and I want to please customers
J Rarely, my clam school students come to see me. I was glad when they came to Rainbow Hat.
I’m so happy to work in good environments

BR 1-01: The Twelve Dancing Princesses

“He clicked his fingers and a cloak appeared. With a second click, Ralph vanished.” (p.30)

I have read this book when I was a child, but I didn't remember well, so I chose this book. I like this story very much! Especially, I like the scene that a magician uses his cloak which it can vanish him. The highlight of this story is the magician’s intelligence. The twelve princesses are so clever, but the magician is cleverer than them. The climax of this story, the magician and the youngest of the princesses married. I also like this scene When I read this book, I feel so happy!

Essay 1-02a: Things for Exchange Students

There are many things to know in KGU. I want to tell about important things to exchange students who come there.
First, KGU have thirteen departments. I’ll mention their names, the department of Commercial Science, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Studying Britain, the United States, and East Asia, Economics, International Economics, Legal Economics, Social Welfare, Welfare Environment, Children’s Domestic Welfare, and Life-wellness. There are so many students in KGU. I think most of them want to talk with exchange students, so I hope that exchange students will have a lot of chances to contact with KGU’s student who belong to several departments!
Next, exchange student should remember that they check the own department’s bulletin board when they come KGU in the morning and before they go home. Very important things are written in the board. If you don’t check it, you can’t know the classes are canceled or meetings are held. Before, I have waited our teacher more than 10 minutes in the class room which the lecture was canceled because of no check the board L
Third, there is English-lounge in KGU. It is a room that exchange student and this university’s students can contact each other. In the room, people can’t speak Japanese, they must speak only English! It is not easy for me, so I have been there only about three times. I want to talk exchange students better, so I should have more chances to go there. English-lounge staffs are very kind and cheerful! I think exchange students can be friends with them soon.
Finally, students have to know that first period starts at nine o’clock. Some of the students often are late for the time. When such people enter the class room, other students may be able to concentrate. Each lecture takes 90 minutes! It is so long, but we should take lectures with concentration. The recesses are 10 minutes, so if it is far between class rooms, people must move quickly. Especially, it is quite a long way between building No. 12 and No. 14, so we often move with running, or we are late for next class!
