BR 2-11: Mouse Soup

"'Run outside and find a nest of bees, some mud, two large stones, ten crickets, and a thorn bush.'" (p. 53)

This story was very interesting. Four short stories are in another story. A mouse was wise, but a weasel was simple-minded. The weasel tried to eat the mouse, and the mouse told him four stories not to be eaten. I like the story about the thorn bush. An old lady who was in this story was so pretty. There was a thorn bush growing in her living-room chair, and she told about that to a policeman. He suggested her to cut off the thorn bush. However she didn't want to pull it out of her chair, but she worried about the thorn bush's sick. The policeman advised to her that she should give water to it. She did that, little buds came out, they opened up, and they became large roses. I was impressed with this story!
