Three children in this story are very interesting. First, they had nothing to do, and considered what to do on the beach. Then, they decided to read a book. First, a girl read a story of the book she had, but the story was very childish, so the other two boys didn't like it. Next, Sam said, "I can make more interesting story than it," and he started to tell a story which appeared a cat and a rat. I liked his story very mush! It was interesting. A rat found a pretty cat in a pet shop, he really liked him, and he bought him soon. The rat wanted to be friends with him, but you know cats are animal which eat rats, so I thought the rat was eaten by the cat. I read this story with exciting. In the end of the story, the rat asked the cat's favorite food. I expected that the cat answered "RATS," and he ate the rat. However the end was different from my expectation, the cat answered "cheese." The rat was delighted cat's answer, they ate cheeses together, and became good friends. I was interested that I couldn't expected the end.

In the world of this witches, doing bad things were wonderful. However, Little Witch was only good girl in her family. When her aunts were throwing smelly old eggs at the mailman, she said a magic spell and cleaned up the mailman. One day, she was bored because because she didn't have anything to do, so she asked her mother to let her to go to the school. Then, she could go to school with promises that remember to be bad, don't make any new friends, and don't learn anything. While she was in school with her friends and teacher, she spent a really good time. She made many new friends, she cleaned her classroom, and she learned a lot of things. When she went home, her mother found that Little Witch broke promises with her. Little Witch thought she makes her angry, but Mother Witch praised her for doing a bad thing, broke promises. I remembered that I wanted to become a witch when I was a child.

This was a story when Tigger came to Pooh's forest for the first time. One Night, Pooh was sleeping, Tigger came to Pooh's house. Next morning, Pooh gave honey to him for his breakfast, but he didn't like it. Then, Pooh and Tigger visited other residents of the forest. First, they went to piglet's house, and he gave Tigger haycorns, but he didn't like it. Next, they went to Eeyore's house, and he gave thistles, but he didn't like it, either. Finally, they went to Kanga and Roo's house. They met Christopher Robin there. I like that Pooh and other residents of the forest thought Christopher Robin made knew everything of the forest. However, Christopher Robin made them to think for themselves. I like the character of Christopher robin. My favorite character of Winnie the Pooh's story is Piglet. He is very small and cute. I was glad that he appeared in this book.

Amelia Bedelia was a woman whatever she did failed. Mrs. Rogers ordered some cereal with a cup of coffee, but Amelia Bedelia prepared a cup of cereal in coffee. Because of her failure, she was fired by Ms. Rogers. She decided to help various places. However, she failed in each places. First, she went to a beauty shop, she was asked that pinned up a customer's hair, but she did that with safety pin. She was sent from the shop. Next, she entered in a dress shop, and she was asked shortening some dresses with sewing, but she shortened them by scissors. She was sent from the shop again. She was obedient, and she tried to work very hard but she didn't have wisdom and common sense. She was a good woman, but I don't like her behavior. I thought she may be able to make sweets, only. She shouldn't work as a helper.

There are seven stories in this book. I liked the story of Very Tall Mouse and Very Short Mouse the best. Very Tall Mouse and Very Short Mouse are good friends. At first, I couldn't understand why they were good friends. Their field of vision were different, for example when Very Tall Mouse saw birds, Very Short Mouse saw bugs, and when Very Tall Mouse saw ceiling, Very Short Mouse saw floor. However, in the end of the story, they saw a rainbow together. I found that they saw a world with each other, so they were good friends. I also liked the story of the wishing well. It was strange story. A mouse threw some pennies, the well said "ouch!" The mouse felt strange, and she threw her pillow into the well not to be hurt him, and she threw a penny into the well. Then, the well made many wishes of the mouse. Every one of her wishes came true! I really want the well.

My
favorite dish is stew. I often eat it in winter. The reason why I like it is
not only delicious, but also healthy. There are many kinds of vegetables in
stew, potatoes, carrots, onions and so on. My mother sometimes put Chinese
cabbage in it. Recently, my mother’s stew is used taros instead of potatoes. It
is very good taste because of simmering. I have made stew for myself before. I
could cook it very well. It wasn’t difficult for me to make it. I cut vegetables,
fried them in a pot, poured water in it, put roux and simmer for a while. It
takes a little time to make it, but I was interested. If the stew is left over,
I can eat gratin. I put torn bread in a gratin dish, pour the stew, put a slice
of cheese on, and bake it by a toaster oven. It is delicious, too! I recommend
this way to eat rest of stew.

favorite color is purple because my birthstone is amethyst. Purple was used by people
of high rank in the past because it is difficult to get natural purple dye
then. I like purple flower, for example violets and pansies. Violets’ codes are
modesty, honesty and little happiness. Pansies’ codes are meditation, pure love
and peace of heart. When I was an elementary school student, I used to see
violets in my way to school, and there are many pansies in my grandparents’ garden.
I liked to see them every day. Also, I like purple clothes. I have purple sweatshirt,
purple jacket and purple pants. Contrary to general belief, purple matches
other colors, black, brown, red, blue, and so on. I felt happy when I put my
favorite color in fashion. I bought a purple rucksack recently. I liked it very
much. I use it frequently to put my textbooks and notebooks. It is useful for
me.
